Our Thoughts

1. Today’s youth is India’s future

We the educated, wise, intelligent youth are made of a different material. We have all the ingredients to be successful- honesty, hardworking ability, dedication. But, we do not have the resolve to put these to good use.

We are very sensitive and light hearted, very careful about our rights but neglect our duties. Lion in home and rabbit outside. Carrying lots of daily life problems on our head along with test of prove our abilities. Always contemptuous of corruption but get freed giving bribe.

Our society is full of these intelligent, honest but ambiguous and negligent towards nation building process peoples. Hence in this process of society rehabilitation contribution of this large and important section is zero.

Seeing such ambiguous and confused Indian youth, a concern arises in my mind that what will happen of this country. Reason for this concern is - “Today’s youth is India’s Tomorrow”, if this future is so ambiguous and confused then, how can we see the dream of healthy and developed India into reality?

Today we are entangled in the web of corruption, illiteracy and unemployment. Speed of development in India is slower than the walk of tortoise. This situation is not acceptable to us; but the thought that nothing can be done about it or even if I take any action it won’t yield anything is the biggest hurdle is achieving our aims. This negative thinking prevents us from taking that important first step which will take us to the solution.

Why are our thoughts so negative? Reasons manifold. We will get lots of corrupted and power-hungry people around us. Seeing such peoples the question arises that why should I alone be honest and servile. So is me being corrupt the solution for all this mental turmoil? Again I myself negate this. This is not acceptable to me. So this idea starts rooting in our minds that nothing is going to happen of our country and importantly I alone cannot do anything about all this.

India is the largest democratic country and the game of politics that is being played is horrendous. Because of this, growth of nation is getting stalled; nation is running into danger zone. We hate politics, don’t we? We even do not want to touch it, lest enter into it. We think that it is not our work but we don’t think twice before criticizing anything related to politics and the current shoddy state of affairs. Metaphorically, stand along side of the road and shouting about dirty condition but not doing any thing to clean it. Is it not the situation of confused Indian youth mentality?

We have the power and capability to run the system in very good condition on the basis of our talent, great will power and understanding. Our country might get advantage of our talent. But problem is that we are not ready to come forward because we think that the daily life problems related to job and family are more acute than the problem which our society and country is facing.

If he does not want to contribute towards the change then why should he worry about it? Because of such attitude of capable people, incapable people get chance to rule the country. These people are free to do what they want. This gives an answer as to why states like UP,Bihar and West Bengal are still backward.

Today’s young generation thinks that politics is a very complex and dirty work. But I think that politics means service to people. How is serving the people a bad work? I heard that to serve to society means worship of god…Then how is this bad?

Now a days politics has taken a different meaning - corruption and dirty work. As a youth and tomorrow of India, we have to work to bring politics to its original meaning. To do this we need energy of today’s youth and because of this I would like to request all of you to please join the politics and change the system. Again a youth will think that Why should I make my hands dirty? But if you dirty your hands today, you will spare your children from playing in the sludge tomorrow. Isn’t it a good deal?

Now the reader is in dilemma that how I singly change the system? Those who are in this dilemma, I would like to say only one thing. In the sight of the ocean, we shouldn’t forget the contribution of drop. If you see big fire around you, do not forget the power and contribution of spark. Today we need only a spark of confidence that we can change the system. And this we should. This spark will lead to fire and this fire will become our torch which will help us finding identifying our path. The experience will boost our confidence and the fire will glow brighter and better paths and ways appear and success will be ours.

On behalf of BJP Karnataka IT Cell, I would like to request you that nation need you and your contribution to run on development way. We need your support for betterment of our country. Today’s young generation has that potential energy to change the existing system, conversion of this potential energy to kinetic energy need to be done in proper way.
